Kibble Scuffle


 

 

 

 

 

Using the game box as a cat food box to store the food cubes, players take turns placing their cats at bowls and resolving their abilities. For example, the Pounce Cat removes a cat at a bowl. The Greedy Cat eats two food cubes. The Mangy Cat forces another cat to move away from their bowl. Once there are 5 cats at any food bowl, the feeding (scoring) phase begins, followed by a new round.

Kibble Scuffle is a tactical card game of area control to try and get the best food for your feline friends. With cards like the Robo-Vac and Laser Pointer, you can use toys to strategically distract your opponent’s cats.

Once a player reaches 20 points, the player with the most value of food cubes eaten at the end of the feeding phase wins.

Star Trek: Conflick in the Neutral Zone


 

 

 

 

 

In this 2-4 player game, players will take the helm of either Klingon or Federation ships, battling for control over the Neutral Zone, where planets rich in Dilithium Crystals have been discovered. Players will collect energy resources, buy more ships, and acquire command points in order to take control and win the game!

Each turn, players will take a variety of actions including collecting Dilithium Crystals, moving throughout the board, and attacking other players by flicking discs, representing ships, across the board. Additionally, Asteroids can be moved in order to obstruct an opponent’s progress, bringing you closer to victory!

The game ends when a player has collected 10 Command Points and all players have had an equal number of turns. The number of Command Points required to end the game can be adjusted in order to make the game shorter or longer. The player with the most command points wins the game.

Dicium invites you on four very different adventures through a central game mechanism of dice combinations. The “Dicium dice” are at the heart of the game: eleven identical dice. Each side presents two aspects: a number and a color. On your turn, you combine the results of your rolled dice to perform up to two actions. It’s the turn of the 20th century, the golden age of museums. As interest in and accessibility of museums grew exponentially, many institutions underwent an intense period of expansion on both an intellectual and physical level, searching to grow their collections for profit and science.

You play as a curator of one such museum and it’s your job to build the biggest, most coherent collection that you can in this game of collection and bartering featuring over 300 individual illustrations by Vincent Dutrait and authentic architectural facts. But it’s no simple task!

Each player in Museum has a small collection of relics to get them started, after which, they will have to send explorers around the world to uncover others. These relics each have a value which is either the cost to add them to your museum, or how much they contribute towards adding other relics to your museum. “Spent” Relics are added to your reserve. You can withdraw them from it by exchanging them for an equal amount of items however your opponents also has access to your reserve!

During the game you will be required to assemble different collections. These can be from different categories (war, agriculture, architecture, etc) or periods (Ancient Egypt, Rome, Aztec, etc). Patron cards will give you bonus cards for amassing certain collections. Explorer cards will allow you to hire famous archeologists to confer bonuses to your museum and event cards will provide you with some game changing circumstances that you’ll have to work around, based on historical events!

All these different elements make compiling your collection an interesting and sometimes tricky experience! At the end of the game points are scored based on collections and their value and the player with the most points wins!

Ravnica Inquisition


 

 

 

 

 

This 5-to-10 player game has players take on the roles of Agents of Bolas, who seek to bring their master to power, or Gatewatch Loyalists, who seek to protect Ravnica from his influence. Players will receive a role card indicating their loyalty, which is hidden, as well as a guild cards, which indicate the player’s color.

At the beginning of the game, players will close their eyes and the Agents of Bolas will be instructed to open their eyes and acknowledge each other. After they close their eyes again, all players will open their eyes and play begins. Each round, players will elect a Leader based on the color indicated on that round’s Leader card. The elected Leader then draws a Targeting card and performs their color’s ability, targeting a player of the color indicated by the drawn card.

Play continues until the last card has been drawn, in which case the Final Round begins. Players will decide who should be killed and the players who were elected Leader during the previous rounds will vote. The player with the most votes is killed. If at least two Agents of Bolas are dead, the Gatewatch Loyalists win! Otherwise, the Agents of Bolas win.

Who do you trust? If you sit on the Iron Throne, the wisest answer is “no one”.

Game of Thrones: Oathbreaker is a game of deception and social deduction. One player assumes the role of King (or Queen), while the others represent the great Lords and Ladies of the Houses of Westeros. Some are loyalists who want order in the realm, others are conspirators who seek to undermine the throne, and all of them have a secret agenda of their own. Who is truly loyal, and who is simply hungry for power, honor, and coin? It’s up to the King to figure it out before it’s too late.

In more detail, the game lasts seven rounds. In each round, players reveal a number of mission cards, each of which has an associated influence type: crowns, ravens, or swords. Each noble plays influence cards face down to one or more missions and places their House Sigil at the mission where they played the most cards. Then each mission is resolved by shuffling the influence cards there and tallying up successes and failures. If a mission succeeds, Order is generated; otherwise Chaos is generated. Nobles earn rewards (coin, honor, power) based on whether the mission with their House Sigil succeeded or failed.

The King can play decree cards during the game to grant favor to nobles who seem loyal, or cast suspicion on suspected conspirators. Decree cards award Order if the King was correct and Chaos if the King was wrong.

At the end of the game, if Order exceeds Chaos, the King wins and any loyalists who achieved their personal ambitions win. If Chaos has the edge, then any conspirators who achieved their personal ambitions win.

Sorcerer is a 2-4 player dark fantasy game from the creators of Star Realms. It combines the best elements of a strategy card game and a tactical board game to create a whole new play experience!

Each game you will create a unique sorcerer by combining a Character Deck, a Lineage Deck, and a Domain Deck. Shuffle them together to form your grimoire (which contains your dark magic and evil minions) and you are ready to play!

Each deck also comes with a skill card. Together, they show your true name. For example, you might be Ariaspes the Demonologist of the Outcast Sanctuary.

Each turn of the game, players alternate spending actions to play spells, draw cards, gain energy, or play minions.

There are three different battlefields in the game representing different sections of Victorian London. When you play a minion, you must decide which battlefield to put it into. It may only attack and use its abilities in that battlefield. If you later decide you need it elsewhere, you may spend an action to move it to a neighboring battlefield.

After all player actions have been spent, minions do battle, rolling battle dice equal to their attack, damaging or destroying enemy minions, or even capturing the battlefield itself. If you capture 2 of the 3 battlefields, you win the game!

The campaign is suitable for groups of any size, as the Keeper can easily scale the opposition to reflect the number of investigators. An apparently simple task, bringing a wanted man to justice, brings the investigators to a town suffering an epidemic of bizarre events, from crazed residents to the dead rising from their graves.
