Dungeons & Dragons RPG: Bestiary Notebook Set

Richly packaged and highly customizable, this officially licensed blank journal is a must-have keepsake for Dungeons & Dragons fans of all levels. Each section of the journal is filled with gridded or lined pages and includes five spreads of interstitial artwork as well as a back pocket for storing character sheets and notes. Silver Bullet

Your village has been overrun by savage werewolves, which are represented by the number on each of the cards that make up your village. To get rid of these fanged fiends faster than the neighboring villages, use your residents’ special abilities and your powerful secret weapon: a silver bullet.

Call for a vote when you think you have the fewest werewolves, but be careful; everyone else gets one more turn to save their own village first…

Silver Bullet is a fast and engaging traditional card game with a werewolf twist! Everyone starts the game with five face-down cards, with everyone being able to see two cards of their choice. Cards are numbered 0-13, with the number showing how many werewolves the character on that card attracts, and each character (number) has a different special power.

On a turn, you draw the top card of the deck or discard pile, then either discard it to use the power of the card (but only if it came from the deck), discard it without using the power (ditto), or replace one or more of your face-down cards with this card; you can replace multiple cards only if they bear the same number, and you must reveal the cards to prove this, being penalized if you’re wrong.

Silver Bullet can be played as a standalone game or combined with other Silver decks. Each version of the game has different card abilities.

Munchkin: Warhammer Age of Sigmar

The Eight Realms of Age of Sigmar form a new battleground for Munchkin players to explore in Munchkin: Warhammer – Age of Sigmar — and by “explore”, we mean kill monsters and take their stuff, obviously.

Munchkin: Warhammer – Age of Sigmar is compatible with Munchkin Warhammer 40,000 and its expansions.

Munchkin Mighty Monsters

Munchkin Mighty Monsters is a fast-playing card game based in the world of Steve Jackson’s best-selling Munchkin. You and your monster buddies are hanging out in the dungeon, just waiting to wallop some munchkins…but there are just too many of them! Play cards by matching either the rank or color of the last card played. Be careful – if you get stuck and can’t play a card, bad stuff happens – the munchkins wallop you instead! Get walloped too often, and the munchkins defeat you. The first player who gets defeated three times loses the game, and everyone else wins!

Includes five Munchkin promo cards, because everyone needs more cards!

Ecos: First Continent

What if the formation of Earth had gone differently?

In Ecos: First Continent, players are forces of nature molding the planet, but with competing visions of its grandeur. You have the chance to create a part of the world, similar but different to the one we know. Which landscapes, habitats, and species thrive will be up to you.

Gameplay in Ecos is simultaneous. Each round, one player reveals element tokens from the element bag, giving all players the opportunity to complete a card from their tableau and shape the continent to their own purpose. Elements that cannot be used can be converted into energy cubes or additional cards in hand or they can be added to your tableau to give you greater options as the game evolves.

Mountain ranges, jungle, rivers, seas, islands and savanna, each with their own fauna, all lie within the scope of the players’ options.

Dune

Imagine you can control the forces of a noble family, guild, or religious order on a barren planet which is the only source for the most valuable substance in the known universe.

Imagine you can rewrite the script for one of the most famous science fiction books of all time. Welcome to the acclaimed 40-year-old board game which allows you to recreate the incredible world of Frank Herbert’s DUNE.

In DUNE you will become the leader of one of six great factions. Each wishes to control the most valuable resource in the universe – melange, the mysterious spice only found at great cost on the planet DUNE. As Duke Leto Atreides says “All fades before melange. A handful of spice will buy a home on Tupile. It cannot be manufactured, it must be mined on Arrakis. It is unique and it has true geriatric properties.” And without melange space travel would be impossible. Only by ingesting the addictive drug can the Guild Steersman continue to experience visions of the future, enabling them to plot a safe path through hyperspace.

Who will control DUNE? Become one of the characters and their forces from the book and . . . You decide!

God of War: The Card Game

Ragnarök is coming. The fate of all existence is at stake. Is destruction inevitable, or are there ways to avoid ultimate cataclysm? The Norns, mystical beings of great power, have decided they will not go quietly into oblivion and have turned their attention to the well of Fate, Urðr, in order to find any possible way to stop Ragnarök. Looking deep into the swirling waters, they can foresee which potential combination of heroes, villains, battles, victories, and defeats might stop the end of all that is known — but will they find the right combination in time? Is there any true path to salvation at all? They must hurry and seek the true way through, before all is lost.

In God of War: The Card Game, players take on the role of the Norns as they try different combinations of heroes and events in order to stop Ragnarök. Each game is a new attempt to find the right key to saving Midgard from destruction. Players must work together, embodying mighty heroes such as Kratos, Mimir, Atreus, Brok and Sindri, and Freya. They will fight enemies and bosses from the popular God of War video game, but combined and remixed in exciting new ways, creating unique “What if…?” scenarios each time they play. If they succeed, the way forward has been secured and Ragnarök can be halted. Failure means the Norns will have to try again as only death and destruction lay along that particular path.

Each quest in God of War: The Card Game is made up of a mosaic of cards that recreate monsters and locations from the video game. Each quest’s mosaic is different, and each card is double-sided, depending on whether a section has been destroyed or not, and each has special rules that go into effect when it is face up on the tabletop. Learning how each quest is won, as well as what strategy to employ, is key to victory.

As players progress, earlier quests have an effect on what comes after them. At certain points along their path, players must choose which quest they will complete. Completing one might grant a bonus, but quests left untouched result in dire permanent consequences as the players move forward. These choices and challenges lead to new strategies, making it so no two games of God of War: The Card Game are alike.

Heroes in the game have several elements that make them unique. Each comes with their own dashboard that explains their special abilities and health totals, in addition to tracking the number of cards a player can keep in their hand from round to round. Tokens are used to keep everything clear as heroes gain and lose health and build up their power so they can unleash a mighty special attack. Heroes begin the game with a unique starting deck of cards that will be augmented from additional decks as the game progresses. Players can construct their deck to focus on their strengths or look for ways to generalize their approach, preparing for future quests that lie ahead. Each hero also has a unique standee that indicates which portion of the mosaic they are facing. With multiple heroes from which to choose, numerous ways to build their deck, and various different quests to attempt, each game of God of War: The Card Game will be a new experience that will echo throughout eternity.

Grackles

Grackles are noisy, iridescent birds that love to gather on telephone wires at sunset throughout the southwestern United States. In the lightly-themed abstract strategy game Grackles, you line up your birds on the telephone wire to score as many points as possible. Each turn, players choose between drawing and placing a tile, connecting two spots on the telephone wire with their birds, extending a line of birds, or rotating an empty tile. After the board has been built to five tiles by five tiles and all available pairs of spots on the telephone wire have birds on them, the player with the most birds on the telephone wire wins.

War Chest: Nobility Expansion

The old general returned to the kingdom on the eve of the heir’s tenth birthday. He brought with him a book—or rather, what looked like a book from the outside.

The queen sat down with her child the next day, and together they opened the book. They found that the insides had been carved out and filled with more coins for their game, as well as some letters and wax seals. They took their chest from the shelf, opened it, and began to play…

The chivalric system was a huge part of medieval warfare. Various offices of state were handed out to the highborn of the land, from Bannermen that surrounded kings and queens, to Earls and Heralds enacting their liege’s will across the realm. Bishoprics had much land and influence associated with them, and were sought after position for nobles.

Can you add these four new influential units to your force, and use royal proclamations to your advantage, to once again triumph in this masterful game of tactical warfare?

Nobility is an expansion for the highly acclaimed War Chest.

Trismegistus: The Ultimate Formula

You are an adept of the mysterious art of alchemy, seeking a way to become the successor of the greatest alchemist ever living — Hermes Trismegistus. In order to do so you will be transmuting mere metals into pure gold, performing experiments, and inventing artifacts to finally achieve everlasting greatness.

Trismegistus: The Ultimate Formula is played over three rounds during which you will draft exactly three dice. By expertly utilizing the potency of your drafted die, you will be able to transmute precious materials, collect alchemical essences, purchase and activate artifacts, and perform experiments that will progress you along four mastery tracks. You will also build a secret hand of publication cards which — together with the value of your experiments, the completed formulas of your Philosopher’s Stone, and your collected gold — will determine your final score in victory points and, perhaps, make you the greatest alchemist, someone able to rival Hermes Trismegistus himself!

The game features custom dice, the sides of which represent alchemical materials. At the beginning of each round, the dice are rolled and grouped by their respective types. On your turn, you must either draft a new die or utilize the untapped potency of a previously drafted die. Based on the material associated with your chosen die, you will be able to collect certain essences in addition to the material to which the die is keyed. Additionally, the color of the die will determine which types of transmutations you can perform, refining raw materials and increasing your mastery of the elements.

Acquire precious artifacts in order to maximize the effects of your transmutations. Conduct experiments. Increase your knowledge and expertise and discover the ultimate formula!

The game includes a solo mode by Dávid Turczi and Nick Shaw.

All you need for a full, satisfying, narrative, and challenging experience is already here!

A moment later, she watches her husband’s autonomous vehicle leaving the driveway, her thoughts already drawn towards her work. Another normal day — at least that is what Elizabeth believes.

The following morning, Elizabeth wakes up on her sofa. She is having a terrible headache and her home is trashed — turned upside down as if there had been a break-in. Although she keeps trying, she is unable to recall anything after the moment she left work the evening before. Elizabeth decides to use the memory scanner. It is the perfect tool for the situation! However, every technological advancement comes at a price…

In Escape Tales: Low Memory, players will delve into the stories of three characters and will uncover — step by step — the plot that connects them all. Prepare for three gripping story lines coupled with a healthy dose of plot twists. Escape Tales: Low Memory holds numerous surprises in store!

What this new game brings to the line:

  • More cards with even more riddles!
  • Three stories, one plot: become three different characters and experience the main plot from three different perspectives to make the right call at the end of the game.
  • Each story changes the gameplay: switching characters not only brings a new and different perspective but also changes the way locations are explored.

Circadians: First Light

We were light years from our home, galaxies away, when we first discovered this ancient celestial body — a planet filled with intriguing, intelligent lifeforms, not too unlike our own. Some built kingdoms below the surface of the green seas, while others controlled the desert-filled plains and cliffs. Among them we found scientists, inventors, farmers, traders and fighters. While our presence has been unsettling for some, we have had very few incidents with the locals. Still, we Circadians, Earth’s famed explorers, must do what we can to ensure peace. We must respect this world and its hosts. The heads of Moontide passed down orders from above. We are to open negotiations with the three clans, in hopes of gaining their favor, along with our own security while on the planet. We must also collect organic samples for the depository on Moontide. This is new ground for all of us, but we must be brave and resourceful. The future of the Circadians depends on it.

The aim of Circadians: First Light is to lead a team of researchers on the planet of Ryh. Players need to manage their crew (dice) to visit various parts of the planet for trade, farming, construction and research. Players score points for negotiating with the locals, harvesting resources for the depository, upgrading their research base, exploring the planet, and collecting gems. The game is played over eight rounds. At the end of the final round, the player with the most points wins.

Halloween Comic Fest 2018 Is Here and So Are Matt’s Top Recommendations!

Halloween Comic Fest is happening here at Fanfare all-day on Saturday, October 26th! We will have free comics to give out throughout the day and if you wear your costume we will feature you on our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)!

To help us get ready for the big event, Matt, Fanfare’s Cryptkeeper of Cool, is helping to count us down to the big day with movie and comic recomendations throughout the week! So without further ado, here’s Matt!

Immortal Hulk
(W) Al Ewing
(A) Joe Bennet & Various Artists

Well, I never thought I’d be recommending an Incredible Hulk comic for a horror list, but here we are. This comic has completely blown me away. Ewing and Bennett’s story offers a mixture of action and suspense that incorporates incredibly effective body horror along the way. The book’s creative team brings fresh new ideas and twists to the Hulk mythos, exploring the gamma powered characters of the Marvel U. and the monstrous versions of themselves that they transform into due to their irradiated origins.  The mysterious “Green Door” and its connection to the Hulk brings an almost Lovecraftian theme to the story and introduces a sense of dread to the book unlike any other Hulk story before. Do not sleep on this comic, it is one of the best reads I have had all year long.

The Fly (1986)
Director: David Cronenberg

My movie recomendation for the day is this 1986 remake of the amazing classic horror/sci-fi film The Fly.

In The Fly, a brilliant scientist named Seth Brundle creates a successful teleportation unit and decides it is time to see if it will teleport a human being. The guinea pig for this first test is none other than Seth himself. Things go a bit wrong when a fly enters the unit with him during teleportation and the fly’s DNA mixes with Brundle’s. Following this, Brundle’s body and mind starts to deteriorate until his humanity has eroded and left him a human fly monster.

The movie’s director, David Cronenberg (master of body horror), delivers one of the best movie remakes I have ever seen with some of the greatest practical horror effects ever put onto film. Not only that, but the film stars Jeff Goldblum, so you know that there is a high level of zaniness delivered in the performance as well.

October 2019 Previews: Carman’s Picks

Skulldigger #1 (of 6)

OCT190269

December 18, 2019

Publisher: Dark Horse Comics

(W) Jeff Lemire (A/CA) Tonci Zonjic

Spiral City finds itself trapped in a vicious cycle of crime, corruption, and violence. With the heart of the city at stake, a vigilante rises in Skulldigger. However, when the nefarious Grimjim escapes from prison, will Skulldigger and his ward, Skeleton Boy, be enough to save Spiral City?

Although it’s sad that the initial “Farm” storyline of Black Hammer has come to an end (along with the recent Black Hammer/Justice League crossover), Jeff Lemire has assured fans that there is still plenty of stories in the Black Hammer universe to be told. Skulldigger looks to be the first book to kick that off. I haven’t missed any of these spinoffs yet and neither should you!

Wonder Woman: Dead Earth #1 (of 4)

OCT190490

December 18, 2019

Publisher: DC Comics

(W/A/CA) Daniel Warren Johnson

The celebrated creator of Murder Falcon and Extremity and artist of The Ghost Fleet, Daniel Warren Johnson brings bold sci-fi chops to his DC debut with a harrowing vision of Wonder Woman unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Princess Diana of Themyscira left paradise to save Man’s World from itself. When Wonder Woman awakens from a centuries-long sleep to discover the Earth reduced to a nuclear wasteland, she knows she failed. Trapped alone in a grim future, Diana must protect the last human city from titanic monsters while uncovering its secret of this dead Earth-and how she may be responsible for it.

Dang, who saw this coming? Daniel Warren Johnson writing and drawing a Wonder Woman story is one of those don’t-know-you-need-it-until-now kind of things. The solicit has mention of “titanic monsters” so fans of DWJ can expect him to be in his element.

Hellboy & the B.P.R.D.: The Seven Wives Club

OCT190340

December 11, 2019

Publisher: Dark Horse Comics

(W) Mike Mignola (A/CA) Adam Hughes

The team behind the Eisner Award-winning one-shot Hellboy: Krampusnacht spins a new ghostly yarn! Hellboy comes to the aid of a young girl whose ghost hunt goes wrong, and a visit to an abandoned medical school reveals sinister layers to a grisly, long-ago murder. Stolen cadavers, vengeful spirits, and more abound in this one-shot.

Hellboy creator Mike Mignola reunites with fan-favorite artist Adam Hughes for a spirit-fueled scream fest sure to excite old and new fans alike!

Y’all, it’s Mike Mignola writing a Hellboy story. I don’t think I need to say anything beyond that (but I will — Adam Hughes did a great job on Krampusnacht and I can’t wait to see this team on another Hellboy one-off!).

Red Mother #1

OCT191378

December 11, 2019

Publisher: Boom! Studios

(W/CA) Jeremy Haun (A) Danny Luckert

* Jeremy Haun returns to his The Beauty roots as he teams with Danny Luckert, hot off Regression, for a new psychological horror series.
* After losing her eye and the man she loves in a brutal mugging, Daisy McDonough is left trying to put the pieces of her life back together. Just when she begins to think she can heal- move on, she begins to see strange things through her new prosthetic eye. And The Red Mother sees her in return.
* Continuing BOOM! Studios’ string of successes, The Red Mother follows Faithless, Once & Future, and Something is Killing the Children for a new original series that examines the dangers that hide in plain sight – and the consequences of digging beneath the surface to find the truth underneath.

I remember enjoying The Beauty #1 but that was a series I didn’t keep up with — it may be time to revisit that before this is released. Boom! Studios has been coming out with some really stellar debuts recently and Red Mother certainly has my attention.

You have finally set out to find the truth. You’ve heard the rumors of ancient runes and the lost pages of a scattered tome that tell of ancient and evil monstrosities, calling for their return. You’ve heard tales of those who came before you in this search losing grip on their sanity as they grew nearer to the truth. As you press on, you can’t help but notice that you feel less attached to reality yourself. Some days you lose track of time and can’t account for hours of the day. The whispers of secret gates to another world are growing stronger, and while no one knows who is building them, you have a dreadful hunch…

Could you be the hidden architect of the Gates of Delirium?

In Gates of Delirium, players have a hand of split action cards: one side sane, and the other insane. Every round, one player decides whether the round is sane or insane, and all players must play that side of their cards. During sane rounds, players search for maps and lost pages to a secret tome, while assigning investigators to help them in their cause. During insane rounds, players collect ancient runes and work to build gates to release the monstrosities that their sane selves have been trying so hard to understand and prevent. Earn the most victory points by the time the last monstrosity is released to win Gates of Delirium.

Abomination: The Heir of Frankenstein

It’s been twenty years since Victor Frankenstein died on a ship in the arctic, but his vengeful creature lives on, as does Robert Walton, the sea captain who vowed to kill the fiend before mercy stayed his hand. It’s now 1819, and a sinister darkness descends upon the city of Paris. A mysterious benefactor of gigantic stature has emerged in the scientific community, never showing his face, claiming to possess the late Frankenstein’s research. He sponsors a grand competition, offering an even grander prize: unlocking the mystery of mortality!

Renowned scientists from around the world come to take part: some drawn to solve this eternal riddle, others coerced against their will. But a certain captain comes as well, one deeply suspicious of the secretive patron, hoping to finally fulfill his vow.

Abomination: The Heir of Frankenstein is a competitive game of strategic monster building for 2-4 players, inspired by Mary Shelley’s classic novel of gothic horror. In the game, the creature demands your help to accomplish what his own creator would not: to bring to life an abomination like itself, a companion to end its miserable solitude. Through worker placement and careful management of decomposing resources, you’ll gather materials from the cemeteries and morgues around the city, conduct valuable research at the Academy of Science, hire less-than-reputable associates, and toil away in your lab — all in an effort to assemble a new form of life and infuse it with a “spark of being”. Do well, and the creature may reward you during one of its surprise visits; do poorly, and you may come to regret not putting forth more effort. Narrative elements come into play throughout the game, guided by your decisions, leading to potentially unsavory outcomes.

The game ends when you succeed in bringing your creation to life or when the Captain kills the creature, whichever happens first. Then the player with the most points fulfills Frankenstein’s dark legacy, becoming his heir, for good or ill…

Cutthroat Caverns: Anniversary Edition

“Without teamwork, you will never survive. Without betrayal, you’ll never win.”

An artifact of untold power lies in your hands. To claim it, you must escape the caverns alive. No less than nine horrific beasts stand in your way — that, and the greed of the other players. In the kill-stealing game Cutthroat Caverns, you decide whether to swing for a whopping 50 points of damage or hold back, awaiting a more opportune time to strike. Only the final blow matters if you are to score the kill. Hold back or sabotage other’s plans too much, and the entire party will die without a winner. The adventurers jockey for position during combat with their lives and their own selfish desire for power in the balance, so things get very funny and very deadly very quickly.

Cutthroat Caverns: Anniversary Edition is a complete reboot of the well-known semi-co-operative game Cutthroat Caverns, with the game experience being updated in significant ways. Enhanced encounters, epic finish rules, scaling play times, enhanced components, updated cards, rules and keywords to streamline play and a ground up re-envisioning of the illustrations and graphics are all among the updates you can look forward to in this anniversary edition of the game.

Decrypto: Laser Drive Expansion

When you add Decrypto: Expansion #01 – Laserdrive to the base game, each round you draw a category card — movie titles, tourist attractions, words that begin with an A, etc. — and at least one of the clues that you give to your teammates must match this category. If all three of your clues match the category, then you receive a red laser token.

You can spend two red laser tokens to attempt to guess one of the team’s hidden words. If you guess correctly, you receive a white token because you’ve intercepted their info — and collecting two white tokens wins you the game, so this expansion gives you a new way to work toward victory.

Hellboy Board Game: The Wild Hunt Expansion

Hellboy: The Board Game – The Wild Hunt adds gameplay elements from the “The Wild Hunt” storyline in the Hellboy comic series to Hellboy: The Board Game.

The Menace Among Us

The Menace Among Us is a semi-cooperative game of intrigue and survival in deep space. Adrift and powerless, your crippled vessel is bleeding oxygen. As you effect repairs, every breath you take brings you one step closer to death. You must work together to restore power before the air runs out — but hidden among you, as loyal friends and crew members, are imposters who have infiltrated security and continue to sabotage the ship. Their only goal is to avoid detection and kill the crew, by force or by asphyxiation. Can you identify them in time and eliminate the threat? Or will succumb to the menace among us?

The Menace Among Us is a 40 to 60-minute, asymmetrical card game for 4-8 players. Each player chooses an Agenda at random, either a loyal Crew member, a deadly Menace or the Coward, who’ll take any side just to survive. Your Agenda card sets a Team Goal and an Individual Goal, as well as outlines any special abilities and the card composition of your individual 13-card deck. Then, knowing your Agenda and Goals, you choose a Character who you believe will best help you achieve them or mask your true identity. Characters add 7 new cards to your deck, shuffle-building a unique combination of cards, as well as provide you two specialized Above Deck Actions.

In this hidden traitor game, how you play your cards and abilities is far more important than the meta game aspects of accusations and denials. Cards are played face down and shuffled together as “Below Deck Actions.” Here, Menace players secretly sabotage the ship’s systems and attack crew members, who are trying to save the ship with their cards. If too few crew members risk going below deck to effect repairs, the ship’s Emergency Maintenance Assistant (EmMA) adds cards to the pile to help. However, the system has also been compromised and occasionally places damaging cards into the mix, providing plausible deniability to the Menace players. In contrast, Above Deck Actions are conducted in full view of the crew. Most of these abilities have costs, either in Energy or Oxygen, both resources the crew is trying to increase. So, while The Doctor has the ability to heal a crew member and remove a debilitating effect, a Menace player, who may be secretly in control of The Doctor, cares far more that it costs 2 Oxygen to perform the healing.

At some point, someone’s behavior will raise suspicion. But, did they do so because they are trying to fulfill an Individual Goal – or are they a Menace? You can call a vote to expose their true nature. But if they are a loyal Crew member, you’ve just blown precious Oxygen in the effort to detain them. For that matter, was it a Menace player calling the vote in hopes of wasting the air on purpose?

If the Crew can find and eliminate the Menace players – and raise the Energy to a safe threshold before the air runs out, they win. If the Menace can prevent this or kill the crew outright, their mission succeeds. Special commendations are awarded for surviving and for achieving your Individual Goal.

The Quacks of Quedlinburg: The Herb Witches Expansion

The Quacks of Quedlinburg: The Herb Witches allows up to five players to compete at the same time, with this expansion also including more ingredient books, a new “fool’s herb”, and the introduction of herbal witches to add more variety.

Tales from the Loop RPG: Out of Time Adventure

There are rumors of a mechanical contraption that roams around the fields outside the small communities of the Mälaren Islands. At the same time, flyers asking for information on lost pets are increasing on the bulletin board outside the grocery store. On TV, the weatherman speaks of “random storm gusts” – and hasn’t there been severely bad weather the past few nights? This is the beginning of a series of mysteries that lead the children out into the wilderness of The Loop and down into its secret tunnels. But what does this all have to do with the long-awaited summer camp, the magnetrine ship Susi Talvi, and the 1969 moon landing? This is a 124-page full-color hardback module to the multiple award-winning Tales from the Loop roleplaying game.

Unmatched: Robin Hood vs Bigfoot Expansion

In battle, there are no equals.

Unmatched is a highly asymmetrical miniature fighting game for two or four players. (Note that this set is solely for two players, but it can be combined with other sets, which all serve up to four players.) Each hero is represented by a unique deck designed to evoke their style and legend. Tactical movement and no-luck combat resolution create a unique play experience that rewards expertise, but just when you’ve mastered one set, new heroes arrive to provide all new match-ups.

Robin Hood vs. Bigfoot features the titular heroes. Robin Hood and his outlaws excel at ranged attacks and robbing from their opponents. Bigfoot and his pal, the Jackalope, crash through the forest for quick attacks before disappearing like a figment of the mind.

Combat is resolved quickly by comparing attack and defense cards. However, each card’s unique effects and a simple but deep timing system lead to interesting decisions each time. The game also features an updated version of the line-of-sight system from Tannhauser for ranged attacks and area effects.

The game includes a double-sided board with two different battlefields, pre-washed miniatures for each hero, and custom life trackers that’s brought to life with the stunning artwork of Oliver Barrett and the combined design teams of Restoration Games and Mondo Games.
