D&D Encounters offer a structured season of play for players of all skill levels. Encounters are bi-weekly one-shots centered on a large, detailed encounter are ran designed for play sessions of 90 minutes to two hours.

Each session includes a light  narrative connection, making it easy for new players to join at any time and without concern about missing previous weeks.

Encounters allows continued use of characters from the Celebration event, with characters leveling up on weeks 1 and 3.
