Join us for our Magic: The Gathering – The Hobbit Prerelease event!

Note: You must use the reservation link to save your seat for this event. Registration on the MTG Companion app alone does NOT reserve your seat.

Check-in and payment for online reservations will occur in-person on the day of the event (no online payment necessary). Please read the directions at the above link for further details.

If you have a seat reservation, but can no longer attend we ask that you give us a call at 269-349-8866 so that we can release the seat for other players

Tournament Format:

This is a Sealed Deck Format tournament. Each participant will receive a Prerelease Pack featuring 6 Play Boosters. Players will then use the contents of those 6 packs to construct a minimum 40-card deck. We provide lands and any cards not in your deck are considered your sideboard for the event.

After deck construction players will face off in 3 rounds of Swiss Paired play!

Schedule:

12:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Check-in/In-Person Payment
3:30 pm: Product Hand-Out/Deck Construction Begins
4:30 pm : First Round Begins

Prizing Format:

Prizing will come in the form of Play Boosters from the set!

Prizing for this tournament is as follows:
– 1 Participation Play Booster
– 2 Additional Play Boosters per match win

All prizes will be rewarded at the conclusion of the third round or at the time a player drops (if they choose to leave early).
