SUMMARY:Magic - Star Trek - Two-Headed Giant Prerelease
DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday\, November 8th\nEvent: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm (estimated end time)\nCheck-in/In-Person Payment: 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm\nEntry: $80.00 per team ($40.00 per player)\nFormat: Two Headed-Giant\nSeat Reservation Link \n\nJoin us for our Magic: The Gathering – Star Trek Two-Headed Giant event!   \n\nSeat Reservations: \nNote: You must use the reservation link to save your seat for this event. Registration on the MTG Companion app alone does NOT reserve your seat. \nPayment for online reservations will occur in-person on the day of the event (no online payment necessary). Please read the directions at the above Seat Reservation link for further details. \nIf you have a seat reservation\, but can no longer attend we ask that you give us a call at 269-349-8866 so that we can release the seat for other players \n\nTournament Format: \nThis prerelease will run as a sealed Two-Headed Giant event and will feature three best-of-one rounds. \nEach member of your team will receive a Prerelease Pack featuring 6 Play Boosters. Your team will share a card pool and each of you will construct a 40-card minimum deck. \nDuring play your team shares life and starts with a 30 life total. You take your turn simultaneously as a team. Your team does not share any other resources other than life. For instance\, any reference to “you” on a card still applies to the individual holder (not the team) \nEffects that read “each opponent” or “each player”\, however\, affect each team member separately. Players can block any creature(s) that are attacking them\, their teammates or Planeswalkers their team controls. \nThe team that goes first skips their first draw step. \n\nSchedule: \n12:00 pm – 12:30 pm: Check-in/In-person Payment\n12:30 pm: Product Hand-Out/Deck Construction Begins\n1:30 pm : First Round Begins \n\nPrizing Format: \nPrizing for this event comes in the form of Play Boosters from the set! \nPrizing for this tournament is as follows:\n– 1 Participation Play Booster per player\n– 2 Additional Play Boosters per match win per player \nAll prizes will be rewarded at the conclusion of the third round or at the time a player drops (if they choose to leave early).
