Dungeons & Dragons RPG: Rick and Morty Starter Set

The world’s greatest roleplaying game meets television’s most dysfunctional family! What could possibly go wrong? Coming this fall, D&D has partnered with Adult Swim to bring this boxed set blending the world of Dungeons & Dragons with the mad narcissistic genius of Rick Sanchez’s power-gaming sensibilities, and it includes everything a Dungeon Master needs to channel their inner mad scientist and run a rickrolling adventure for up to 5 players, levels 1 to 3.

Illimat

Illimat has the style and flavor of a classic card game with a dynamic twist. As you play, you combine cards and collect them, trying to gather more than your opponents. But hidden Luminaries and changing seasons can alter your plans. Featuring a cloth board, metal tokens, and illustrations by Carson Ellis.

Illimat supports two to four players and a single round takes approximately fifteen minutes. The cloth board is divided into four fields, and the box the game comes in is also a component of the game: it sits in the center of the board and sets the seasons for each field, which affects the actions that can be performed in each field. Turning the box and changing the seasons is a critical part of the strategy of the game.

Illimat has been playtested with devoted gamers and people who haven’t played a game in years. The result is a game that’s easy to learn, dynamic, and just a little bit addictive.

Mystery House

This house mysteriously moves through space and time, and no one knows its destination. Will you be brave enough to enter?

Experience the thrill of an escape room in Mystery House: Adventures in a Box, which features a mix of technology and tradition. You are imprisoned in this house, and the only way out is to solve all the riddles you find inside! You must search for clues in the box, which features multiple doorways on all sides. At the beginning of the game, you insert enigma cards in the box top, and these cards will tell a story as they’re revealed and resolved during play. An app drives you through the game and records the progress of your team and your playtime.

The base game includes two adventures: “Family Portrait” and “The Lord of the Labyrinth”. All future expansions will use the same base game box as a game system.

Reavers of Midgard

Reavers of Midgard is a single worker placement game with elements of set collection, dice combat and engine building set in the Champions of Midgard universe.

In Champions of Midgard, your quest was to become Jarl. You battled back the trolls, draugr and some of the epic monsters that once threatened the sanctity of your humble port town. Now it’s time to go on the offensive.

In Reavers of Midgard, you’ll be looking to gain glory by raiding nearby villages for their riches, sacking well-fortified castles and battling both man and monster on the open seas. You’ll not only need to take your rowdy crew of vikings and the food needed to keep them happy along for the ride but you’ll also have to recruit a crew of elite warriors – the Reavers.

Reavers can be used in three different ways. They can be made your ship’s leader, earning you a one-time bonus and enabling your warriors to be more versatile in combat. They can also be used to rally more warriors to your cause, filling your ship to the brim with the right fighters for the right situations. Finally, they can also be used to help your crew specialize, earning you a bonus every time your crew sails into battle.

Whoever can earn the most glory after six rounds will be the winner.
